Hi Friends and members, I thought that seeing you all know I have to lose weight due to sugar diabeties that I would send a simple way to lose weight fast.
A Simple Way to Lose Weight Fast Health and fitness experts agree that one of the primary causes of obesity in Americans today is our excess consumption of fat. The problem lies in the fact that fat possesses heavy amounts of calories with little or no vitamins. People fail to do any exercise and the potential for excess weight and coronary problems significantly increases. One might ask, and then what can I do to guard against becoming overweight or suffering from
coronary trouble later in life? The answer is simple.
People need to be smarter and more conscious about what kind of foods they consume. They need to determine which foods contain high amounts of fat and cut back on their consumption, while increasing the intake of foods that possess high fiber, low-fat, low-sugar contents. This eating policy combined with periodic exercise sessions can help
individuals lose weight fast, have a healthier heart, and feel better in general. Health experts recommend that people also remember the following: (1) Don't take the elevator, when you can walk up a single stair flight; (2) Eat foods that one would serve to their children; (3) Control the amounts of food you consume; (4) Feel free to alter recipes for good health's sake; (5) Don't feel like you have to finish all of your dinner.

Very interesting and very true
I would add : increase your water intake up to half a gallon a day, stop sodas ( even diet ones because they keep you addicted to sweetness and makes you want to eat more sweet stuff ), try to cook with as little fat as possible and try to stay under 2 tablespoons of olive oil a day, have a consistant breakfast in the morning ( coffee, ceral+milk, fruit or fruit juice - and not fruit drinks which are very high in sugar - ), don't go to fastfood more than once a week, amd cook your meals from scratch ( it is easier to balance the meal and you can control the amounts of fat or sugar
Good luck

I don't usually eat everything on my plate. There are times when Eddie really piles the food on. But, I usually save some for lunch the next day. I try not to fry anything. I do a lot of walking but I keep forgetting to take my pedometer with me.

Another way is to eat little and often as this increases the metabolism needed to burn the fat. Walking 3000 steps a day is also a good way - pedometres are pretty cheap these days and doubling up on going up the stairs add quite a few or when standing for a while try just stepping! Thanks for your advice Kathy!
