hey girlz and guys, when somebody asks you your age, do you think it's cheeky and don't tell them or do you just say it? me personally i tell anyone my age because hmm well i don't look it and i always get complimented..hehehe! my mum used to get a childs bus fare when she was 27 haha because she only looked like child..tut..tut! please respond i will rate all users! :O)

My mum used always tell us that it wasn't nice to ask people how old they were. I could never see anything wrong with it but I didn't ask. Now I still don't ask, but I never mind telling people how old I am. After all, old age is honourable.

Well.
If it's in a store and there asking for a pointless reason like buying a gaming magazine which can only be soled to a 16 year old and up. I do find it annoying.
Generally i don't and i will say because it's only a number and at the end of the day. It's how old i am and people hide it for reasons but i like/try to be open.

I don't mind telling people my age - they usually look quite stunned, especially when I tell them I have a 17 year old daughter too! It really doesn't bother me if people ask my age afterall it's only a number!

I don't mind telling people my age. I don't think it is that big of a deal, and honestly I am proud of my age. I am only 28, and I am like you I get compliments because I look younger. I never understood why people don't like saying how old they are, or why they lie about age. Its just silly.

Well maybe when you lost your job becasue you are getting close to retirement and you can't get interivews or jobs becasue of your age and you know if you go back to school no one will even think of you because now you are older then your father was when he retired.
You might be a little more sensitive.

I am proud to be a 26 years old mom and wife. Haha... yeah women often don't look their age. Especially petite women. The frame looks like that of a child. :)
