BTW, one of Mylot discussion guidelines is to not criticize on your fellow Mylotter's proficiency in English! Hope you'll keep that in mind...okay? Check your first before criticizing others.

I couldn't believe that i could actually understand what i was reading. The phenomenal power of the human mind, according to a research at Cambridge University, it doesn't matter in what order the letters in a word are, the only important thing is that the first and last letter be in the right place. This is because the human mind does not read every letter by itself, but the word as a whole. Amazing, huh? yeah and i always thought spelling was important! If you can read this forward it. . .. Yeah, it was kinda fun but don't just give it a thought my friend. Right wordings, correct spellings very important always. :]

I know! It's just amazing that our mind doesn't necessarily read a word letter by letter.

Most text messages are abbreviated. My nephew is very poor in spelling. I am surprise the teacher put a check mark even the speilling is wrong.

This are not abbreviated as you can see. The logic is that we can still read such words even if the letters are scribbled with each other. Text meassaging is a different story!

This was very enjoyable to read. :-) lots of fun. I've seen similar informal studies and analysis breakdown on archaic old English dialects when I studied world literature. The letters by themselves make no sense at all, and a lot of the words seem alien. But once you begin to read and not stop the understanding of the writers meaning is very clear. I was fascinated.

Its like something that we did at college as a test for understanding Dyslexics! Seeing things like this really brings the awareness of others into hand! Lynn-Marie
