I started a similar discussion in Shopping a while back but only got one response, and I really am looking for advice here because the season is about to begin. I sell items at flea markets and antique shows throughout the year. I am looking for suggestions of some additional merchandise to enhance my current line. If you were to go to a flea market, what type of merchandise would you like to find and what would you be willing to pay for that merchandise?? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

How about puzzles? Figurines, like lil statues, things that people will collect, tigers, pixies, butterflies are always popular. baby stuff. Jewlery.

Puzzles and Jewelry I do have, but collectible old stuff/costume things. And I have some figurines but I don't have the kinds that you mention specifically, I will add those to the list! And the baby stuff too, I never even thought of that! Thanks for the suggestions!!

I sell stuff at flea markets, I have a company that I can order stuff from and then I can resell to make a profit and I try and get people to sell for me and they can get my products at a discount price, sell them and keep the money for themselves. It's maily home deco stuff. This year I'm adding some homemade crosses and I'm trying to find a TShirt place cuz they really sale good at the markets. I had a lady that sold Tshirts 5 for $10.00 and she made a killing! Hope this helps! Jewerly also sell real good, I have a jewerly company that I might get in with also. Good Luck and let us know how it goes! Also, make sure you have business cards/fliers to pass out to everyone cuz that is how you get alot of your repeat business.

Thanks!! I'll add those to my list! I do have jewelry, but it is the old costume jewelry that everyone has been collecting for the past few years, I buy at auctions and estate sales. I haven't found a wholesale company for decor that I really like as of yet, but I was going to look into SMC and a couple of others that are local here. I'll let ya know how my year goes periodically. Our first major show this year is the second week in March, then we have 33 scheduled prior to the end of the year, so it will be busy!! I love it!

I sell custom made doll clothes on ebay. And I find a big demand for them. I have seen them at craft shows and flea markets. I sew my own clothes, but you can probably find a wholesaler to buy from. I sew clothes for American Girl and Bitty baby dolls. My seller name is lonewolfer54. Check me out.

Many small items like belts and caps you can purchase for small amounts and Im sure you can sell those types of items. Also, if you are able to make shirts with witty remarks or original images.. (which can cheaply be made) you can also make a nice little profit out of.

Oh, thank you! I'll add those things to my shopping lists for wholesale items. (I do carry the books, but I have not carried the games before).
