When did you had your menopause? 18-34 or 35-60 years of age?

Menopause occurs when the levels of the female hormones estrogen and progesterone fall and your body no lonegr produce egg cell. Generally it occurs between the ages 45 and 55, but for a few women it can start as early as 35 or as late as 60 which is still normal. However, there are those unusually early menopause that occurs at a young age of 18. When did you had your menopause?

I was more than forty years old when I started experiencing the signs of menopause. I will soon be 64 years old and of course I have had my menopause more than ten years ago when I was more than forty years old.

MOst women had their menopause at the same time as yours. By their forties, women starts experiencing a decline, if not total loss in estrogen production. It was said many times that this particular stage is one of the hardest thing a woman undergoes in her lifetime. I hope yours was not too overbearing.
