bridal shower games

it is better if you do have a theme for a bridal shower. from what i read, you can use kitchen, naughty and nice, beach, zen... depending on the character of the bride-to-be or on what would make things easy for you :) a popular game being played is "dressed the bride" where rolls of tissue paper is given to a the groups and members are asked to design a gown for a "bride". you can also play the question and answer trivia, where you ask friends questions on how well they know the bride... or ask the bride questions about the groom. for a kitchen theme, you can ask all the guest to be in their apron and let them bring their favorite recipes which they would want to share with the bride to be. you can also compile these recipes and make a scrapbook out of it which can serve as your souvenir for the event. for a beach wedding, you can decorate the venue with shells and sand. you can give flipflops as souvenirs. wear swimwears as attire :) anything can happen in a bridal shower. what's important is you enjoy the time being together :)

A few years back, My sister's friends and I got together and planned a special bridal shower for my sister. We rented a hotel room, bought some foods and lots of tequillas and guess what...hired a macho dancer. We waited for my sister to get a little drunk before we let the macho dancer in. It was hilarious. I mean most of us were married already but we felt a little ackward while this man started stripping his clothes. Its a good thing he didn't remove his underwear. Until now, 7 years after, we still kept laughing about it when we reminisced it.

Sad to say I didn't have a bridal shower before I got married. Sadly I can't give you any game suggestions.Goodluck on getting some suggestions though.

what is a bridal shower?

have a 20 questions game... ask questions about the couple like - where did they meet, how did they meet, what did they do on their first date, where are they planning their honeymoon...etc. who ever knows the most about their soon to be wed friend(s) wins. everyone puts a piece of paper on their head and they have to draw a picture of the bride in her gown (with a pencil, on top of their heads) I got this one from a website the guests have to pretend that the wedding is over and it is the wedding night. The motel has lost powder and the bride must get ready for her wedding night in utter darkness. Blindfold the bride and give her a luggage bag filled with a variety of items such as sunglasses, men's underwear, big bra, work gloves, or anything else that may bring a laugh. (She puts all this on over her clothes!) When she is done take a picture ...
