what is the difference between us and the animals ?

I think animals and human have many things is same but my best friend say human can learning by error such as human know about blood relative so human don't make love with their family but animals cannot do it so it make human have many civilization and culture but animal live by instinct

What distinguishes us from mere animals is the knowledge of necessary and eternal truths, and gives us reason and the sciences, elevating us to knowledge of ourselves and of God. It is this in us that we call the rational soul or Mind.

I think the main difference between us and animals (we are animals) is our intelligence and our emotions. Some animals have a few emotions and are kind of intelligent but man is the most intelligent.
