Hi, although romesh powar performed creditably well in his given chances, as the team has two better spinners in anil kumble and harbajan apparantly he was not chosen. Also, his performance with bat was disappointing in the recent odis. According to me, the real unlucky player to be left out was mohamed kaif. He should have been in the squad ahead of sehwag had performance alone was taken in to account. See, he is technically more sound for the slow pitches of WI, was the best odi batsman when we toured the caribbean last time and is significantly better in fielding than sehwag. And we don't need sehwag as a bowler in WC either as tendulkar, yuvraj and ganguly are there to fill the part time bowlers' slot. Thanks.

That is what sports are ment to be if you can accept the winning with cheers, learn to gracefully accept the other side as well. Good Luck in the coming games.

I feel that the selectors have always been bad towards Laxman. He could have been given a shot at this WC. Laxman is known to play well out of India too and he has done pretty well in WI.
