Congenital Disorders

I have a baby aged 3 years. She was born with a congenital disorder in the kidney. She happens to be my second child. My first child is a very healthy baby. What could be the reason for the congenital problem? Have I gone wrong somewhere? Is there anybody like me? I wish to know.
