partion computer

i like to partionmy hard drive into ateast 3 drives.. one for windows, one for backup an one for software an games.. but i got no idea how to do this.. coulde anyone explain it to me please..

use xp boot and partion any no of drive .it is difficult to do in windows so boot from xp boot cd and reinstall the os

You will need to use a partition software, like partition magic. I am unaware of any free partition software under windows though. Also, make sure to backup your current important file on a CD/DVD or on a usb key before you start the partition.
