Backing tracks but not karaoke

3 people involved,we want to start entertaining but not karaoke style.All musically inclined but we do-not know where to start looking for tracks or gear.Can someone help/advise us please.

Do you guys play instruments??? If you don't want to sound "karaoke" then you should show your musical talent, but otherwise you should hit local music stores, and I don't mean the franchises. I mean actual small business owner shops or shops that sell instruments. They usually carry that kind of stuff.
