Ubuntu or RedHat what is your choice?

Neither of those. ubuntu sucks, the best linux distro is PCLinuxOS.

Definitely. PCLinuxOS 2007 will pwn all other distros in looks, performace and features.

I saw some screenshots just now. While it uses rpm hence I am right now reluctant to try. I am presently happy with ubuntu. If i get a test m/c I will try this out

I agree with kbalona PCLInuxOS is the best ^_^. im now waiting for PCLOS 2008 to come around, so i think i'll play with PCLOS 2008 minime for a while ^_^ but for begginers in Linux PCLOS 2007 is the one for you!
