Why does it ask me to enter a comment after I've already done so?

I'm getting kind of aggrevated. Sometimes I'll type out a really long response and when I click on submit it will bring up the comment box again with my full answer and then tell me to please enter a comment. This is so annoying for me because I can't just copy and paste my answer since Im still new I cant paste. Has anyone else had this error? What does it mean? It doesnt happen ALL the time. Just sometimes, and then I can reply again with a message that says testing or something and it will go through but if I retype my entire answer it gives me the error again. GRRRR
