Will lightning also strike buses, cars etc

We keep hearing about lightning striking tall buildings and some people also get effected by lightning and all isn't it? but, have you heard of lightning striking buses, cars etc.Is it because of rubber tyres, all these vehicles are protected as they cannot be earthed...is it?
