There are words I know, but cannot write down correctly. I can understand a little italian. I worked with an italian business partner who did not want pay the bill, but I asked him italian to pay. ANd he did!

I wonder if my spanish username would be bene vita - hmmmm, two more words, mercato is market and scuola is school..
he - he - I looked in an online dictionary - the word for cat was interesting, except for gatto or gatta I found micio or micia.

Okay you've got me. As much as like replying to your discussions I know very little Italian, but here are a couple:
bella = beautiul in English and is my eldest daughters nickname.
bambino = baby in English which I call the youngest sometimes.
How did I do????

This is what I can thinkof at the moment:
buon gusto = good taste
buona fortuna - good luck
asbet = "wait a minute" or "hold on"
basta! = enough!
baci = kiss
pantelone = pants
scarpa = shoes
and of course - ti amo!

That's a good one! I've tried to learn italian some time ago, can't really remember that much... Chi vediamo logo! (mostlikely mispelled...I've tried to say "See you later"), Sonno felice (is that I'm happy?), ...E ma perque? (why?), Ragazzi, Bambine...
