Does anyone know how this sight functions? How it is that they decide to pay you and what influences the price they pay you? Trying to understand the point of this website, you know like who, what, where, when and why and how much????? Anyone with any info please enlighten me.

You get points for every discussion you start and the responses you receive to that discussion. Also points for every response you make to discussions started by other members, plus for any 'best response' you get and that is why you should aim to give quality responses to any dicussion. The person who starts the discussion is the one who gives the 'best response' but any member can give a positive (+) rating to any response, irrespective of who started the discussion. MyLot have checks and balances to make sure that the positive ratings are fair. Add your points add up to make earnings and this is what you are paid. If you reach minimum payout during the calendar month, they you are paid around the middle of the following month. This means that if you reach minimum payout during October, you will be paid around the middle of November and anything not paid will be carried over to the next month. If you get people to join under your referral you also earn a % based on their earnings, although the money comes from myLot not part of your referrals earnings. I think that the quality of the responses is what determined the amount you are paid, i.e. you are more likely to get a little extra for something that is a quality response than for just 1 or 2 words. If you haven't already done so, just check in the FAQ as most things are covered there. Remember to use the 'tags' on all discussions. Good luck and keep on starting discussions as well as responding to discussions. :)

I have tagged all of my discussions, but honestly, I have not a single clue why? I don't know what there purpose is, or how to use them, I just enter em in because I read somewhere they have something to do with the payout. Who do you think decides what is a quality response?

If for example you use the tag 'special' then when someone else uses that same tag and submits their response all other discussions with a tag of 'special' will come up at the bottom of the page and a lot of people would check them and respond as well, which then in turn increases the earnings for the person who started the discussion. The tags should relate to the discussion and not be put in at random. I am not sure who determines what is a quality response but I believe that is the reason why I am making a reasonable amount of money. From what others are saying, they aren't making the same amount of money and the only reason I can think is that I make what I believe to be quality response, rather than just the 1 or 2 words.
