Well I must admit I'm not a big fan of R.E.M but I do think that 'everybody hurts' is a really meaningful song and I don't think I've met anyone who doesn't like it.

hi! what comes to mind by r.e.m. is called "perfect circle" from their murmur album. i just can't get it out of my head, especially the chorus -- it's too good. nice that i could bump this thread too

everybody hurts or losing my religion. i know i'm a bit mainstream but i really think they're the best 2 songs and thats why they're 2 of the most popular

My favorite R.E.M songs are "night sweeming" because of its piano part and "day sleeper" because of the one line that says "I cried the other night , I don't even know why" I sometimes feel like crying and I don't know why ... R.E.M have some nice songs that brings me back to my childhood.

I really enjoy listenin to end of the world as we know it so that has to be my favourite song. Its so quick i just love trying to sing the lyrics while its on. A great catchy song and it recommended by me.

My favorite songs are Man on the Moon, Pop Song 89, Orange Crush, and The One I Love. Personally, I think It's the End of the World As We Know It is very overplayed, but it is still a great song.
