For all you yahoo mail users out there. Have any of you received this email? I did today and I am not sure if it is legit or some sort of scam or worse a virus. I have never heard of yahoo doing anything like this so I don't know what to think of this email. This is exactly what the email says.
yahoo mail gives members random cash prizes. Today your account has been selected as the one of 12 top winners accounts who will get cash prizes from us. Please click the link below and follow instructions on our website. Your money will be paid directly to your e-gold,paypal,stormpay or money bookers account.
Then it gives an address to click on to claim your prize. If you have any info on this I would appreciate it if you would tell me what you know.

if you visted yahoo answers an are a member an partispate in yahoo discussion then you might be a winner.they do give out cash prizes for the best answers.so if you dont do yahoo answer an question."than its a scam".i would email yahoo an see what they say.there was another mylot member who got the same email.so email yahoo

I do not participate in yahoo discussions. I was 99% sure it was a scam anyway. I think I will contact yahoo and see if they know anything about this email that is being sent out. Thanks for replying.

Its probably a ploy to get your account from yahoo, paypal etc. I have received some emails like this. Some people usually create a site that is identical to some sites and has a login page totally the same. The only difference might be the URL. Just remember that nothing in Life is FREE and you'll always be cautious of things.
