Don Vitto , as all enthusiasts readers know,was a powerful man in New York and his actions almost went unopposed..He is affectionate and humane in nature..but does he do the right thing in taking Law into his hands , as if a running a parallel government ???

Well, i believe the most shocking impression films like The Godfather or Scarface(both versions, but very specially the 80's one)gives, is the fact they're basically kings, their family codes, war codes, property codes, are based on the family and the preservation of the family name. Lord and Land, God and property. They are at least less hipocrite than many powerfull people who protects behind the law and the state police. Is like get insight with the real structure of society and power, because, like Tony Montana says in Scarface: "You are not better than me, you just know how to hide." Then, no, certainly don't approve it, but the thing is they are not using very different codes that powerfull people have through Ages and human History.
