What are the differences between Bypass surgery and open heart surgery?

Everybody are familer with bypass and open heart surgeries isn't it? As far as i know, in open heart surgery, heart has to be opened to perform the operation and in bypass surgery, heard is not opened and additional artery is attached to suply blood to heart muscles or nay other parts of the body ....more than this, what are all the other differences between these two..anyone here?

With bypass surgery doctor depends on computers. They do heart mapping first and it takes hours. Once is done, it takes minutes to finish. The is no additional artery attached. The surgery reroutes, or bypasses, blood around clogged arteries. It's sometimes called CABG(cabbage).

Yes, bypass surgery is one complicated surgery and it does need good doctors and also too much money isn't it? nice to read out usefull information from you.Till now i thought like, in bypass surgery one extra artery is attached to pump blood and here you have given proper explanation...

Yes, nice link you have given here and too much information is also provided here for all the details of bypass and open heart surgery and many people get treated for this surgery every year isn't it? both are very costly treatments as well as risk is also more in both....
