Gay...right or wrong?

I don't know what to think. I used to not care. I thought a person has a right to choose the way they want to live. Then I met my husband who says all gays and lesbians will go to hell because it is a sin. He believes that God will put them in damnation because He didn't make man-man or woman-woman, He made man for woman and woman for man. I just don't know what to think. What are your thoughts.

Well, homosexuality may or may not be a sin, but I wonder why "Christians" think it more a sin than other sins such as not following ANY of the 10 commandments, such as lying, stealing, jealousy and envy or covetousness, or murder, taking the Lord's name in vain. The subject of homosexuality is not even touched upon in the 10 commandments, yet it is made out to be this unforgiveable sin based upon obscure scripture. Didn't Jesus say to love everyone? Didn't Jesus die for all our sins? How does that not include homosexuality? I am really confused by the attitudes of Christians in this regard and the complete and total demonization of one segment of humanity. It is non-sensical to me. And most certainly not within Jesus' teachings.
