displaying image using swings concept in java

upto now i have studied displaying image in appletviewer . but now i am working in swings.can any one know how to implement it in java i.e any methods and classes for them... plz inform me..

i think you are talking about icon...i think it is like this Icon ic=new Icon("Image.gif");
