Do you call your husband/wife by his name?

When I am talking to him I use pet names. If I am talking about him I use his name. If I out in public with him, it depends on how crowded an area it is. If there is nobody around, I will use a pet name. If there are too many people listening in, I use his real name. I don't want to listen to other people call each other pet names, and I don't want them to hear me calling him endearments or vice versa.

i call my husband honey, he does too. but when not in front of people. and when i get upset to him i will call his name with a high tone. but thx God my hubby never get upset

When we're alone my boyfriend and I refer to eachother as "sweetie" but in the presense of other people we normally call each other by our first names. Not that we're shy to call each other "sweetie" in public, it just usually doesn't come out that way.

I rarely call my husband by his name. For some reason, my nickname for him is mister so I always call him that. I never call him honey, love, sweetheart or anything like that.

I'm not into pet names. I wouldn't mind if my boyfriend said one to me because I'm a girl and I like mushy stuff like that. But I do not call my boyfriend any cutesy names, he's a man...he doesn't need to be called a "baby" or "honey". Sounds like something you would say with your first boyfriend when you're young.

My soon to be ex wife I used to call hon or honey or sweetheart, occasionally short forms of her name. My current lover I tend to call her hon, sweetheart, sweetie, her actual name, or some inside joke. Currently my favourite is Addict since she is a myLot addict ;).... And leave my trench coat out of this Queen LOL

I always call him by his real name but he always calls me "sweetheart". Come to think of it, I rarely hear him say my name.

We call each other by our nicknames, our real names are long and we're lazy lol.
