I have a fairly new electric stove and a REALLY old fridge. I thought about trying to sell them on Craigs list but it may just be easier to donate them to charity... so what charities take appliances?

I am not sure if they do take appliances but I think they are willing to take anything :) I am sure that they would not say no to your old fridge. Well, in case they do, then you can sell it to a junk shop or something. happy mylotting.

I'm sure you've already handled this matter as it is 6yrs old. I know Salvation Army takes them and I think St. Vincent DePaul does around here. I don't believe Good Will does though they do take used electronic equipment working condition or not. It's a horse a piece as to which is easier. Some charities don't pick up the stuff you have to drop it off yourself and you have really heavy items to deal with. On craigslist you could ask the person to remove it from your premise. Or if you are buying new some of the stores will remove the old for free or a fee.
