Whats your pet's name and how did you pick it?

When our oldest child was 9 months old we decided to get a pure bred Golden Retreiver Puppy since we had no animals at the time. So we picked up the male puppy and brought him home. We picked Jakub's Winter Wish as his full name that he is registered with because Jakub is our oldest's middle name and it was Winter time when we got him and it really felt like a wish had come true!!! Of course he's now 13 years old and weighs 140lbs - so I know for sure we didn't get the runt of the bunch and yet it's funny because he still plays like he's a puppy!!!

my kitty's names are pebbles and cubbie. i picked pebbles from the flinstones. i've always liked that name and it wouldn't go in real life if i were to have a child. cubbie was picked because my boyfriend loves the Chicago Cubs. he picked it out. i don't like that baseball team.

I have two cats, who are brothers, that are named Athos and Aramis. They are two of the names from the Three Musketeers. I picked them for two reasons. One, Alexander Dumas is one of my favorite authors and two, together we make the Three Musketeers. It just seemed to fit.
