do u really think these people with more than 300 friends in orkut really knows those people . i don,t think so . so why wait for that day to come . so those who need to have more friends in orkut lets do it now after all it is prestigous to have many friends n many fans right?

I doubt people with this many friends know too many of them very well, and I would also imagine that it is a hectic task trying to keep up with their friends' discussions and responding to their friends' comments on their own discussions.
I vet mine. I have quite a few friends but I don't normally accept them until I've known them for a few days and can see whether they're going to support my discussions.

ya i agree with u it becomes hectic to manage .how many friends do u have in orkut ? i have around 150
