I don't smoke, never have. I have a mom who has for years and has decided its time to quit, my son has chronic broncitis, and can't hardly breath when we visit. So she wants to try the new drug Chantrix? Anyone have any luck with this?

Thank you for bringing this to my attention and thank you to all the people who responded with positive news. I've tried zyban but it didn't work. In fact, I've tried many things that didn't work. I'm going to bring this one up with my doctor and see what he says. I really have to quit smoking soon. It's getting pretty expensive to keep smoking. I hope Chantrix is available in Canada.

I have not personally used it but my friends husband used it and quit smoking without any problem. Only had to take the pills for about 30 days and he hasn't smoked since. Her daughter-in-law also took the pills and hasn't smoked. This was the first I had heard of this pill, but accordint my friend it really works. Her husband had tried and tried to quit and just couldn't do it. He went for hyponosis and laser and nothing worked expect this pill. Hope your mother can quit.
