Our anniversary and Valentine's Day fall two days apart and it's always impossible for me to come up with gift ideas for my husband. I think that guys really get off easy this time of the year ... buy flowers, you're off the hook. What about us girls?? It's not like I'm going to send him a bunch of roses to work. This holiday (Valentine's Day) is a made up holiday as it is and it's really difficult to buy for men! What are you buying your man this year for Valentine's Day? Or men, what's your idea V-day gift?

My partner's Birthday is Valentine's Day! So, I have to think of something creative each year that will fit our budget too. I have had roses delivered to his work...and he was the envy of the women and the awe from the men that a man received flowers! Another time I send a huge personalized cookie and a bouquet of balloons. Last year, I put together a big care package of his favorite snacks because he was always complaining that he had a snack attack at work and kept forgetting his snacks to take to work with him. So, I took him a care package that he kept in his office and he didn't complain for a good month of the same thing. Oh! And I have even gotten him a bouquet the was made of his favorite candy bars. Those are pretty cool and pretty too!

Wow! Congratulations on your special day. Its also our 2nd anniversary on the 18th that's why my hubby and I decided that we would just celebrate on that day instead of the 14th where all restaurants are packed with people. Anyway, giving him a gift was a real dilemma for me because he's a very simple man with simple needs. So maybe we'll just give him a home-made card with the picture of me and our 5 month old daughter in it. :0
