Meredith. He isn't in love with Addison. Addison is outwardly the better catch, but something about Meredith draws him to her. I think its because Addison is really self sufficient. Meredith needs him to rescue her.

yeah,and also,addison made the mistake of her lifetime having an affair,getting mcdreamy back will be really difficult.
