Electrical device strengthens heart muscle

this was in my local new wanted to share! Heart failure patients often take a laundry list of medications and have implanted devices like pacemakers and defibrillators. But none of these actually builds muscle and strengthens the heart. Now, a new device does, and doctors hope it will give patients a new lease on life. A device called "the optimizer" is helping. It looks like a pacemaker or defribillator, but it works by delivering electrical energy, causing the heart to release more calcium which builds up the heart
