is it a twin, full, queen or king? Do you think the majority has a full or queen size?

We have what they call a Calif. King size. We need at least that much since my 80 lb. Labbrador insists on sleeping with us!l He takes his half out of the middle and he snores so loud some nights I have to get up and come to the guest room bed which is a queen. LOL the spoiled brat that he is just stretches out farther and lays there til we are up and moving the next morning.

At home, we have a king, queen, and single bed sizes. I can sleep in anyone of them, no bother. I believe that for a very sleepyhead, the size of the bed he is in will no longer matter. However, if we give it deeper thought, we will know that it is always best to sleep in the biggest bed there is as it gives so much more space for all those turning around which takes place while we are sleeping. If people will have all the choices they prefer, I am pretty sure everyone will go for a full size bed for himself, in the least.

Question: do you think if someone is sleeping alone in a big bed, do they sleep in the center of it or do they sleep to one side of the bed?

Okay, guilty. California King size bed. And yes, most of the difference is in the length. It's a little bit wider, but yeah, mostly length. My wife and i got tired of having our toes hang over the end so we were willing to pay for it. we're both around six feet, i've got about an inch on her, and it gets old having that toe hanging over the bed problem. also, when one of us is asleep without the other...yup. right smack in the middle of the bed. and okay, sometimes i'm right smack in the middle even when she's in it. LOL

Well at least you never have to worry about rolling and falling out of bed. LOL The mattress must weigh a ton.

Can you tell me the difference between the king and California king? I herd it was only the length the bed was longer not the width. Is this true?

We upgraded to a queen bed last spring to no avail. I still end up on the floor cause of our 85lb. lab/pit mix who purposely stretches in the middle of the nite..Stretch enough to shove me off the bed.

I like to sleep on the floor. It is more comfortable for me. I can not say what most people do, as I am not in their homes. What do you sleep on?

They say sleeping on the floor is good for your back, I don't know. My bedroom is so small all I can fit in there is a twin. I hate it, I wish it was at least a full.

Man...I'm too crippled to get down on the floor. If I ever got down there...I'd just have to stay there forever..I'd never be able to get back up! LOL

Mine is a normal sized bed, it should be the queen size. I am a bachelor, and it is understandable. I sleep alone, so I don't find a reason for getting a double cot. My bed is made of teak and has a lot of carvings and is really comfortable to lay on.

Just curious about people who sleep alone, do you sleep in the center of the bed or on one side of the bed? Thanks.

What is a "full" size bed - is that the same as a "double" bed? Anyway, I have a queen size bed.

We have a queen size bed. Most nights one or both of our two year-old twins end up in the bed with mom and dad...so even our twin size bed gets a little crowded!!

I have Queen size, I use to have double for years and I would never go back now. I would like a king but it wouldn't fit in my room.

Hi there, I have a full sized bed and a room to match it. I would love to have a queen sized bed but I have limited space. I read through the responses you received so I might as well tell you that I sleep alone and I stay on my side of the bed. I don't sleep all over the bed, I stay on one side. Nice question, nice responses...Take care...

Ours is a queen. With all of the pillows we have piled around us and a cat that likes to come up between us and plop down during the night, it tends to feel crowded! I'd love to have a king, but our room is not that large.

I live in an RV and my bed is the size of a twin. I prefer a full bed but there is no room in the RV.

Don't feel bad naty, I am in a studio apartment which is probably smaller than your RV and I can't fit nothing larger than a twin either. I guess I should be happy I even have a bed, lol.

Mine is a queen size bed. I think most people have a queen size. Just seems like alot more room to move around. Don't have to worry about falling out of bed!
