What makes people "blame others"? is it pride?

Employees blaming other employees or the boss, children blaming their parents, husband blaming the wives and vice versa. Can blaming be a "positive attitude" that can produce good results?

Nope, blaming is not positive at all. People blame others b/c they don't see fault in themsevles. So the more the blame others, the more and more they are telling themselves "it wasn't my fault, I'm perfect" and that can't be good for them. In the long run, it's best to take responsibility for your actions. Even when I feel the excuses in my head for something that went wrong, I try to hold them in and just say "sorry" because I know excuses are just that - excuses.

I like that, blaming others is one way of saying "I'm perfect", I can't make mistakes." It's just plain common sense to check what went wrong and correct the mistakes but people are quick to blame. Common sense is not so common after all.
