last night i freaked kinda bad. i dont know whether this would fit under anxiety or panic but whatever it was it really got to me. i remember just feeling like i was gonna die any second, and i absolutely did not want to go to bed even though i was super tired. i was just afraid id die in my sleep, and i was seeing all sorts of stuff when i closed my eyes, like freakish bats and blood. thats not the only thing i do though, i constantly worry and feel anxious about things/situations even if theyre just in my head. so am i just crazy? or is it just major anxiety?

Its normal to have occasional downers and these can come with fairly serious anxiety attacks, but if you find you get them often it would be worth considering whether you have eaten, drunk or otherwise taken anything that could be putting your system out of kilter and causing these feelings. I presume you've already looked at actual stresses in your life to see if its related to anything that you can either fix or have to learn to live with? Cats help by the way, strike a moggy and that should ease some of the anxiety.

I'm a long term sufferer of panic & anxiety attacks & have actually woken up in the middle of symptoms that you describe, it's really horrifying. Because I wake up disorientated & panicking & not knowing why. From what you describe it does sound like bad anxiety or even a panic attack, & also you appear to have some kind of constant anxiety causing your bad thoughts & fears which I can also relate too, but I would advise seeing a doctor for it as it is causing you a lot of distress. I've worked as a helper for fellow sufferers & have never known or heard of anyone dying from these symptoms, so try not too think the worst & remind yourself when you get these attacks that it is anxiety & try to control your breathing which will help you too relax. If you need to talk more, just drop me a line I'm more than willing to help out if possible :)

I have ocassional anxiety attacks where I feel like I am going to crawl out of my skin. The panic attacks happen about once a year, I had one at the beginning of January where I didn't sleep for three days and had the attention span of a flea. I couldn't find anything to calm me down and I was really stressed out. If you continue having these attacks, you may want to see a doctor and get something to help you sleep. Having insomnia on top of all that isn't fun ... and that is the voice of experience talking!

Your definitely not crazy. Did you watch a scary movie before bed or something or is this an every night occurence. You may have severe anxiety if you're anxious for no apparent reason. You should talk to someone about it but in the mean time breathe and think happy thoughts.

Sounds like a panic attack. A very strong episode of anxiety. Some thought sets it off and then you feel a physical change. You then focus on it and then a more terrifying thought jumps into your head. Now you are really scared and you think something worse will happen. It is basically a snow ball effect after that. After each feeling it grows and grows.

If you were crazy you wouldn't know it! You would think that everything that happened last night was normal. I don't know what you believe in but it sounds like you have demons trying to scare you. I don't know if you believe in God but maybe you should try praying to Him and asking Him to help you when you feel this way and see these things. Ask Him for His protection and to help you understand why this is happening (it may not be demons). I worry a lot, too and I handle it better and feel better after I've had a talk with God. It may have something to do with hormones, too...(I know these are 2 very different subjects but you never know!) Maybe you should see an all natural doctor about this.
