see the reason i say this is that in the first books the harry was really happy. he had much more reasons to laugh and smile than now. but the books had less profit. by making the book more professional and adventures the boy is made to go through tough situations again and again. just look at the picture and answer. "is rowlings under pressure?"

no never. Remember the book started with Harry losing his parents. Now how can anybody call that a happy feeling. Well its true that he is going thru the darkest of times, but hey he's against the darkest of dark wizards. What else is expected of Harry. When Dudley was the threat in Harry's life he fought him with a boa. You just cant expect Voldie to be scared of a boa from the Zoo. JR alwez knew what she had to do. She had already written the last chapter of the 7th book rite after she had finished the Philosopher's Stone, even before the first book got a publisher. She alwez had an outline of the whole storyline. All that she had to do was make up the dialogues. And yes Hollywood did help her in that.

no i don't think so. jkr already had an idea where she's taking harry's adventures. even in book 1 there is already a hint of darkness, because of the path Voldemort took in order to live again. (remember his possessing of Quirrell and his killing of the unicorns?)

um no, it would be a pretty boring series if all she wrote about was how happy harry was! It's all part of Harry growing up and the storylines maturing with him, they have become less of a childrens book as the series goes on. And as JK has always said, she had always planned 7 books and had the basic plotlines worked out before she started writing

I don't think you are right.I think the latest books with complicated adventures are better that the first simple book.Rowlings is still under pressure because the book must be ready at a certain date.

This is how the plot goes. this is how JK Rowling writes. She said it has been on her mind for years. She is under pressure for finishing her last book because she had to. and i don't think the the later harry books are only for publishers.

i think that before JK signed any contracts she had a pretty much good idea how story of the book is going to turn out. I like the series better and better even though it also becomes darker with each book that comes out. But this is just to be expected though as Harry is growing up and it also leads to a more dramatic climax. I also don't think that JK is under pressure because if she was the books would have been rushed and it wouldn't have come out as good as they were.
