Who was your very first best friend? How far back can you remember? I'm 37 and I remember back to preschool... a girl named Toni. I don't remember anything about her but her name. The next I remember wasn't until 2nd grade and her name was Wendy.

My first best friend was when I was about 3. Her name was Sarah and we went to the same church. I moved away when I was 6 and we still hung out for a few more years, but we got in a huge fight when we were 13 and now we don't talk anymore.

It's never too late to give her a call. My best friend from 8th grade thru Junior year in HS and I had a huge fight in our Senior year. We didn't talk for about 10 years after that. But she was always in my thoughts and I was always sad when I thought about how close we'd been and how things had ended. So, one day, I just called her. Our first conversation lasted about 2 hours and we both cried. We're not "hang out every Saturday night" best friends anymore, but we are friends again. We live about an hour apart and our schedules don't leave much room for phone chatting, but we email regularly and keep in touch that way. And I'm so glad to have her back in my life.
