I live in India and am rebuilding my late father's magnificent library of English and Sanskrit Classics, whereof I have nearly 10000 books in number. I allow Researchers free access to the library by prior request. I intend to scan and digitize these precious bound tomes which must be disbound (UNTHINKABLE) for desktop scanners. For hand or motorized (Logitech Pagescan or Storm Smartpage sheetfed scanners with a detachable scan head), this would be a Herculean task with more than 2 million pages to scan. All things considered, my research indicates that a Digital Camera alone can help, and hence my interest in this Tripod. Could anyone advise me as to whether the Paillard Bolex will accept Digital Cameras (it does take 8mm and 35mm cameras), and help me locate one. Thank you all. Raman
