I have heard of something like this before as well. I think it pays to be cautious true or not. Its alot more work when your hard drive gets affected then no computer then the rest follows.

Whether this is the same virus or not, I did have one that someone sent me that completely crippled my computer and forced me to buy a new hard drive. Now I only open emails without attachments and if I do have to open something with an attachment, I use a public computer.

Openning emails with attachments to public computer is the wisiest thing freak369.. It's better to play safe than to suffer.. Thanks for the tip..

He it may be True. I will Explain the reason. You know How Computer works. Just 1 or 0 [on or Off State of power] is its language. Then the Entire Computer System works according to this Pulse. you know HDD and al components Works in specific voltage like +5 v and +12 v. These voltage are also regulated by Binary/ one or zero / on or OFF. That means it can also increase or decrease the 12 v or 5 volt. The virus can do it. and if the HDD get 24 v instead of 12 v. There you will see Some Smoke.

So this whole thing is run by 1 & 0's.. I think whoever made this virus has a brilliant mind. Thanks for the info TinKutr
