What's the difference between BitTorrent, Limewire and Kazaa?

from personal experience, limewire has worked the best for me. kazaa takes up a lot of memory and makes the computer a lot slower. Torrent is if you want to download whole tv series or music albums instead of one song or one episode.

obviously, bittorrent is activated by torrents while limewire is a direct download software. Kazaa? never heard of it...

not much difference, They do the same thing and that is sharing of files through p2p.. And in this file curruption is negligible..

bit torrent, limewire and kazaa all are p2p. Bit torrent is used download torrent files. Limewires uses its own search engine to find the files and location. Sorry I have never used Kazaa...So I don't have idea about it...
