Symmonds Role in Australian cricket

I think that with symmonds unable to play for Australia in the begging of the world cup due to surgery will decrease Australias chances of winning.It was clearly evident that lack of an alrounder like Symmonds has led to the loss of CB series in their home ground after such along time.What do u say

no doubt australia is a strong side, but everyday is not a sunday, and with andrew symonds injured and the recent loss against the england in the commonwealth series shows that there is decrease in favouritism of australia winning the world cup.. i would love to see india winning the world cup
but i feel westindies have a pretty good chance of winning since it is their home ground..
