Do you expect your partner to meet all your needs?

I dont.I think even the most devoted couples aren't capable of meeting each other's needs completely.Others may say a good marriage demands reliance upon one another and a mutual effort to satisfy life's demand. But i think if you make your partner exclusively responsible for meeting every emotional, physical and spiritual need can kill even the most promising relationship. What do you think?

even if they are not able to meet.... it is pleasing to see them making an active effort to overcome their deficiencies...

No, I don't expect myself to meet all my husband's needs or him mine. I'm sure that there are some people who have these expectations but I'm with you, it will kill off the relationship. There's no way that any person can meet all of another's needs and if they try to it just saps them of all life and hope. I would think they'd just become a slave and a shell of a person.

I dont think so!We are not perfect to meet all our partners need!We have our own weaknesses and its because thats the reality! We better understand and forgive when it happens to us!
