Full time work in a office is very cumbersome for me. I would rather prefer to work sitting at home. It gives me an immense pleasure when i work for myself rather working for others and getting less pay. Though freelance work is now becoming more competant but if you have a good will power and perseverance, you can definitely get success. Almost all big companies started their work with 8 to 10 employess and with good strategy, they are now successful then why we cant. What you thin friends???

In the early years when my city was at the starting point of development, many people worked at home. They assembled the parts of products at home for the factories. The payment is very little. You have to be very busy the whole day assembling several hundreds sets of the products to get only 10 to 20 dollars. And yet by means of this kind of "work at home" chores, many families were able to earn enough money to make ends meet. Now a days, I think work at home may refer online jobs. I tried to find such jobs two years ago when I was unemployed. But I never succeeded in doing so. Finally I gave in and ask for help from the labor department. Now I work at a shop as a salesman. Every day I have to take bus to work, and face my boss who always dissatisfy with my sales results.

I think I'd prefer to work from home. It is something that I'm trying to work out at present. Perhaps one day pretty soon I could just sit at home and work as a consultant. The problem, though, is that the market is too small and saturated, for most fields, I guess.

I definitely prefer working for myself at home. I'm not big on wearing silly uniforms or stuffy outfits to work and the like. I'd prefer to be able to dress how I want, work when I want, and not have to spend money on gas and everything else.

I think no one would disagree on working at home BUT if that were the case, people wouldn't be interacting with others and everyone would be doing it. Most work at home jobs are not legit or you have to work even extra hard in order to make a lot of money at home.

i also believe that full time work from home is better than full time work in office. if we work hard at home, we will get more and more. but for this purpose there must be more online pay channel who can feed them. if you think you can earn more doing mylot.com from home, it would be hard. so there must be good strategy to start work from home.

This growing trend throughout the country is focused on agents handling incoming customer service inquiries from their homes while connected to a network via computer and landline (no cell or cordless) phone (which you must provide). There are two distinct business models in this industry: independent contractor or employee. Prior sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not a requirement. Bilingual skills are also an asset. Two companies, Alpine Access (www.alpineaccess.com) and Working Solutions(www.workingsolutions.com) hires virtual (online) agents as employees. Other companies, including Willow CSN (www.willowcsn.com), LiveOps (www.liveops.com), VIPdesk (www.vipdesk.com),and the West Company (www.workathomeagents.com) among others, require agents to incorporate, and they're hired as independent contractors. Hourly wages range from $8 an hour to $15 an hour, which is determined based on experience, skill level, and the specific needs of the client you're serving. Ask in advance how the company pays its agents. Some pay hourly from when you clock in until you clock out. For others, the meter runs only while you're on an actual call; you're not paid for downtime between calls. Good luck - I work for Alpine Access.

I'm actually unemployed at the moment. But I would like to work from home. I'm actually looking at certain offers. So far, the only type of employment that I'm doing is mylot. And I really enjoy it. I love writing. I love reading. I like posting discussions. And I really like the fact that I get paid for it. No matter how little it is.

I agree with you guys, I prefer to be working at home also, but I have a difficulty of finding the good and inexpensive part-time job. Last year, I always seeking the part-time job in internet, but mostly they required payments first, others not offering in Philippines.

I love working from home, I am living the life that I want and I don't have to answer to anybody but myself if my work does not get done. I may have to go back to the daily grind of an office job soon, but in the mean time I am building up to try and avoid that. Working from home also means that I get time from myself as well as for work, even though I love my freelance work I love having "me" time when I really need it.

I think that I would rather be out of the house, but working for myself, or a good company that knows how to treat their employees. I am now unemployed, and going to college this fall, and I cannot wait to leave the house for approximately 8 hours a day!

If i can have the chance to work at home then i'd rather be home than in office. you can do what you want at home and you divide your time to your likeness... and yes those who are rich are those who have their own business and not just an employees. Just a thought!

i liked to work in an office. But during weekends I love to venture to another working field like small scale business and the like. If i'm home I think I'll get fat because I'll cook foods..desserts that I like. And it would be depressing for me if I'll get fat. Anyways, if my body asked for some rest then of course I will rest.Let's not abuse our bodies.

I always dreamed of just working at home, though I am not a gifted businessman or maybe just having less experience and determination. I am still planning of having my own business which will ot require me of doing this or that. Working in the office stressed me up but there's nothing I can do right now since it is our source of living. But I admit that I am learning from my present work but I always wanted to just do something that will give me earnings without a boss but my self. Well I am starting to think but for now I don't have the resources.

I've always worked full time outside the home. That was up until 2 years ago when I got laid off from my job when I was 5 months pregnant. Now I've had the opportunity to work from home and love it. To be able to walk my older one to the bus in the morning and pick her up is well worth it.
