As i predicted that Aussies will be sliding downwards from this world cup onwards and now that they are defeated by england in 2 consecutive games isn't it? definitely seemslike they are losing their grip in holding their number one position and coming day's will prove this for sure....so, watch out guys....Aussies downfall....

3 consecutive games. Too premature to predict a downfall!! First steps in a new direction, plenty of depth in Aussie cricket to keep them #1 for some time yet. Let's see how the world Cup goes.

Yes, all my predictions will turn out right now..just wait and watch and by now you also might have heard of Aussies losing against newzealand by 10 wicketsisn't it? shamefull defeat and you might say that aussies didn't play to its full strength but let me tell you, before even with b team they used to win lots of matches and for your kind information, aussies have lost 4 consecutive matches now and this have am major dent in their confidence and will have an effect in world cup and you can see them defeated in the world cup and then slide downwards fast......

Hi, I agree with you. In cricket, when 3 or 4 legends are there in any one team at the same moment, no doubt it rules the cricketing world for quite a few years. WI for example in the days of sobers, lloyd, richards and marshall and later on courtney walsh and ambrose. Similarly, the australian team was riding on the back of such legends all those years. Now one by one they are retiring. Though they have depth of talent in fulfilling them, it's quite doubtful whether the player will be in the same league as his predecessor. It's too early for a shaun tait and stuart macgill to perform like mcgrath or shane warne. Considering this, I feel it is inevitable for australia to become vulnerable time and again in the coming years unless they unearth some real talents equalling a warne or mcgrath, which definitely may take generations. Thanks.

Yes, you have commented in the right spirit as it happened to the great west-indies team when they had all the taklents in the world like, richards, lloyd, sobers, marshall, garner, murray.....isn't it? now the same thing is happeneing in aussies as players like Martin, Mcgrath, Warne, Justin Langer are all retiring together and juniors are not al that great whenever they will be given huge responsibilty for sure..... Anyway's, thanks for responding
