How do you judge character,?

OK so he's one of those guys - This is a train of thinking. I started off with a sort of macho character, and then, being the sarcastic soul I am, came up with this.

In real life, or when reading a book, or watching something, how do you decide what you think of people? Is it how they appear, what they say or do, or some sort of personal vibe? I find the shallow characters in many shows and movies really are hilarious. That may be why I did this cartoon.

Actually I do get that personal vibe, ..I seem to know when to hold them, when to fold them, when to walk away, when to run. Isn't it interesting how the spirit of a person is so evident in this medium yet often look nothing like we perceive?

Good point. There are added dimensions, and a bit of observation does a lot. Perhaps in any medium there's that opportunity for camouflage...

Perhaps the spiritual element is the real judgement. I know some people seem so much more real than others, as if they're more... alive... in that sense.
