Waking Up...

How do you wake up in the morning? Is it really automatic for you? Your body clock wakes you up? For me, how do I get up without waking up the other people in my family? I have this alarm that like almost wakes up the whole house! It is the only way I will wake-up. Got any more suggestions? Perhaps an alarm that shocks you will work? Look forward to your opinions.

I just tell myself for a few minutes every night before I go to bed, "I have to get up at 7:30, I have to get up at 7:30." I can't explain it - but it works, I get up at the time I told myself to do it! Maybe you should get a radio alarm clock - the music will wake you up and perhaps not be as disturbing to others.

I don't need any alarm clock to ring me up. My mind and body just automatically give me this signal that its 5AM. I need to get up this early coz I have to attend to my girls for school.

Somebody else usually wakes me up. Either my husband, one of the kids or the dogs. I never catch a break. LOL No matter how hard I try I never get a descent night's sleep.

My wife usually wakes me up in the morning. Even though i have alarm clock to help me waking up in the morning, i still rely on my wife o wake me up, especially on weekdays. Strangely, before getting married, i can wake up on my own. My body had adjusted to wake up at around 6 o'clock in the morning everyday.

Usually my biological clock wakes me up in the morning. But when I am too obsessed in a novel, or foot ball games, I would stay all night awake. Thus the next day I would not care to get up but just sleep, sleep, and sleep until my family pour water on my face.

Its strange about the old body clock, if I set the alarm I always wake up about 15 minutes befor it is due to go off, but If I don't set the alarm and think I will wake up I sleep straight through...:)

About 80% of the time I wake up before my alarm. I have an inside alarm that just wakes me up between 5 & 530. Even on weekends most often I'm up. I do set the alarm every night (except weekends) for the other 20% of the time. I love my morning quiet time to reflect, prepare for the day ahead and be grateful. If I don't have it, it starts the day off poorly.

alarm clock - Imagine waking up to this every morning lol. it looks cool but i wouldn't want it to be the first and last thing i look at before and after i wake up!
i am a really light sleeper, so i wake up to any noise anyone makes really. my 7 month old daughter sleeps in my bed with me so i wake up when she wakes up. or even if she just moves a bit i wake up. i've never had a problem with waking up, its STAYING awake i have a problem with sometimes! lol. Why don't you try going to bed earlier so you can wake up easier? hehe. i think getting shocked to wake up would make you a pretty cranky person to deal with all day!!

I usually get up automaticaly at a certain time. If I have to go some where and I need to be there at a certain time I will set my alarm to make sure I am up.
