Come on, surely not. Does Steve McLaren really have what it takes in the England hot-seat? The performance against Spain was awful. But aren't friendlies always like that? The England team doesn't seem to have any bite. Steve McLaren himself hasn't achieved that much in domestic competition. OK he won Middlesbrough the League Cup but they haven't progressed since. They haven't got the foundations to go further. McLaren has 6-10 months in my view. If he's not up to this job we have to get someone stronger in for Euro 2008. Otherwise it will be another not-so-near disappointment.
