Rubs and marinades

What do think of or do you use Store bought Rubs and Marinades? If so what brands do you like Best. I like to use "Clubhouse" montreal steak spice rub for steak on the BBQ and "Clubhouse" Mesquite paste rub for chicken done in the oven.
