Hey people out there.... Was out for two days.... busy somewhere else...So finally here;s the next question I wanna put up and discuss with u smart and intelligent people out there ..... What according to you should be the recommendable relationship between a teacher and a senior student -- lets say a grade 11 or 12 student who is 16 or 17 at age I guess... I mean I am a teacher and thus wanna know things that I can mould into myself, to a better extent.... though I am stilled liked by my students... What are the upmost limits and boundaries that one should adhere to while dealing with students?

I think you should be a friend also to the children that way they have somebody they can confide in. It's one thing to learn but you will get more learning if they trust you. Fun without crossing limits. I enjoyed my science teacher because he treated us like we were mini adults not like babies he would rationalize with us on our level thus making me enjoy his class even more.

you are in a great position to understand them and meet with all your problems as you have gone thru the same phase recently.but plaese dont be too attached with them,it causes a real problem when you have to leave them.like i had a teacher with whom i shared everything and he told me evrything about his own life, whenever i had problem i went to him for suggestions.then 1 fine day he had to leave cos he was transferred.both of us had to go thru a lot.so stay close but not too close

well definately no 'personal relationships'..that really causes alot of confusion as these ages are very vulnerable..friendly and cordial..yes..and if ever private classes are requested i always advise the parents or guardians to be in the house if that is required..

Student of that age is may problemetic for most of teachers. Teachers' thinks they r still kid and students' think they are going to be adult. This time more friendly attention is needed. From my experiences, if u handle them positively they will more controlable to you.
