She has decided to adopt! Great, and she wants to adopt an American baby...again great! I am one who is definitely glad to hear this...not that I am against others who have adopted African or Chinese or Russian babies....but I do believe we need to help our selves our country our neighbors FIRST! good i feel bad for all these kids but we need to start taking care of us. you see on tv all the time to sent money to other contrys to help feed kids but what about ours? there our kids right here in my town that hardly eat and what are we doing? helping other countrys!

Thats awesome! I can't stand all of the international adoption. We need to take care of our own children first!

It's awesome for anyone to adopt, but I am really glad she decided to adopt in America.

That is truly awesome! I am glad that she is doing that and adopting an american baby. She is a beautiful young woman who seems to have her head on straight, especially being in the entertainment industry. Although, she is not married she seems to have a close knit family. I always see her mother or father with her.

Go head on Queen Latifah and she is right there are alot of american children that needs our help as well.Yes other children in other countries need our help but dont leave the amercan children out.That is nice of her and i hope they keep doing what they are doing.

I am with you. We need to start helping in our country first. When I did "save the children" I did the children in America first. Not that I didn't feel for the others, I did. But, we all need to take care of our own first. No body else will.

I totally agree with you.
There are alot of times where I feel like parents who adopt form outside of the USA are doing so becaise they want something exotci in their home...LOL. I know that is probably not true but there are som many kids here that need homes that it is rather cowardly for people to look outside of the country. I am sure many do so because the wait isn't very long or they don't want an older child.
