Me I do all my jeans in one load first..(I have a front load washer and dryer...it's really nice) I use softener in every load, snuggle... Then I do my t-shirts and sweatshirts in another load.. Then I wash my kids' clothes in the same order.. Then finally I wash all of our white clothes together. I use bleach and oxyclean in the white loads because we have a lot of rust in our water. How do you sepparate your laundry? Do you use softener? Do you use any special kind of stain remover or anyhting else in your wash?

Wow, you can tell I'm a college kid. When I do my laundry, I tend to shove everything I've worn in the past week into one load, cold water (reds and whites in the same load, can't do warm water :P lol) and toss in a capful or two of the All 'small and mighty'. I use those fabric softner sheets in the dryer, too. But that's just because it costs money to do multiple loads, so I scrunch it all together. If I'm at home and do laundry, I tend to do whites first. (I hate doing whites, so I get them out of the way. too many socks ^.^) Then I do colors or blacks (eh, darks. but I have more black clothing than 'dark), and then I do jeans. And if I'm in a charitable mood, I'll wash my moms towels last, then blankets. ^.^

I tend to have more black things too, and I used to do laundry that way too.. Before I had kids
