It really depends on the quality of your discussions. As I write this, I've got a rating of 204, yet I have almost $6 in my account with no active referrals. So for me it was around 33 posts... When I post I make a discussion out if it. I try to leave comments on every comment someone makes to my posts, and it seems to be working. If you're sole purpose is to make money on here, you wont make much. If you want to chat to people, and discus things (like I and plenty of other larger earners do) then you will make more money.

This is an update. Yesterday I only posted to 4 discussion. 3 of them I only gave one reply too. The other discussion I started, and for every person that posted a reply, I left a quick meaningful comment to what they said. It didn't take long - every time I get a email in gmail, I'd simply view my discussion and reply. I made nearly a dollar yesterday with 4 discussions, and most came from the one discussion. So, myLot doesn't pay a set amount per discussion, they pay based on the quality, and how many page views and responses your discussions generate.

It's good to see that someone else actually took the rime to read what I wrote :) Thanks drsanjeeva! People, listen, if you want others to give useful feedback and posts on your discussions, the very least you can do it make an effort to read peoples posts and comment on them. I will now be going to check out drsanjeeva posts. I may not post a reply to all them, but the ones that interest me I will. I'm gathering he will probably reply back to me. Then he might even check out my posts. Then I might ask him to become a friend, and if I really like his posts, I will put him on notify so every new discussion he starts, I will get an email. And he might even do the same for me. This way, every one wins! :)

It's an "Ancient Chinese Secret"....but I suppose you're too young to remember that commercial :) I don't think there's any specific amount to post. I've heard, you'll make more starting and posting stuff to your interests. And also uploading photos as well. Not sure if that's true or not. I know it used to be a bit easier to make that dollar a day mark, but not lately.

For me is around 50 post which is around 2 cent per post. I think mylot paying 1 cent for short post and 2 cent for long post. So, post longer and quality discussin if you want to earn more.

I don't see any fixed pattern nor basis as to how many discussions to a dollar. There are times I get more than 2 dollars per day and my discussions are less than 50 postings. There are also times when I get 1 dollar for less than 15 postings. I don't actually understand how mylot algorithm works. I believe they are basing it on the quality and length of discussions. I don't think we can calculate earnings basing on the number of postings alone. This is already quite obvious.

when i first started i was writing about 100 quality posts a day and uploading a few pictures and i was making over $2.00 a day. now i've slowed down a little, i wrote 50 posts yesterday and started a couple good discussions and i made $1.25 for my posts.

I think with 100 good post you'll get your 1$, if your posts are very good you maybe get a bit over 1$. That's what I think.
